The ability to learn Reiki is not dependent on intellectual capacity, nor does one have to be able to meditate. It does not take years of practice. It is simply passed on from the teacher to the student. As soon as this happens, one has and can do Reiki. Because of this, it is easily learned by anyone.

Reiki is a pure form of healing. Learning Reiki is a good starting point for experiencing and working with healing energy and a wonderful method for deepening awareness of universal energy.

Taking Reiki 1 and 2 with Karina (Kia) has been an absolute joy. I feel so fortunate to have found their training and to have chosen to get my Reiki certification with them. Karina is an amazing teacher with a beautiful, healing, peaceful energy and a simple way of teaching this healing energy that makes you feel like you are a natural at Reiki right from the beginning. Kia radiates creativity, fun and “joy de vivre”. I have never met anyone who has so much energy and positivity as this lady. She is go a getter, a person who sees opportunities amidst obstacles. When I first met her I was inspired by her, and while I would encounter people in the yoga community who were too religious and serious about it, Kia reminded to have fun. I just remember thinking ‘whatever this lady is doing I want to do!" This is the effect I have seen that she has on people, she is a yoga gangster, a spiritual gangster and a friend and inspiration.
